Welcome to Three Rivers Bernese Mountain Dog Club. We were established in 1991. A small group of dedicated Berner fanciers in western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh area) had just successfully put on the 1991 National Specialty of the BMDCA, and we decided that it was time to make our loose connections more official. We are now a regional club of the BMDCA and in 2008 became a licensed AKC Club, working actively toward the aims of our organization which you can read by clicking on Club Info. Our geographic center remains western Pennsylvania (the “three rivers” are the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio), although we are proud to have members from as far away as California, Florida, Kansas and Canada!
